Academic Enrichment Summer Camps - 2024
Mary Lee Bunch Associates’ Academic Enrichment Summer Camps are designed to be a fun and entertaining way to keep your child’s memory sharp and active during their break from school. Each camp includes a variety of different classes, activities, and games that will make learning easy and exciting! We believe that it is important to maintain education through the summer months so that when it is time to head into the fall semester no student feels behind or unequipped. Our professional teachers are well-versed in current curriculums and expectations for different grade levels. By participating in our summer camps your student will have an opportunity to remember material from the previous year, learn new concepts and fun facts, hang out with other students, and engage in educational games within a low-stress environment. Grade School Genius Camp (Grades 1-4): With a particular emphasis on reading and math, our Grade School Genius Camp will be the perfect refresher for your elementary-aged student. We know it can be challenging to keep up with academic progress during the summer months, but there is no reason it shouldn’t be fun and exciting!
Subjects covered: Reading, Math, Spanish, Writing, ELA, Art, History
Schedule: 6/24-6/28, 9am-2pm
Cost: $395/student
Middle School Masters (Grades 5-6): There are many new concepts introduced in the middle school years, and we want to help every student feel as successful as possible in understanding them! This camp will solidify your child’s confidence through age-appropriate academic enrichment, with some friendly competition through educational games.
Subjects covered: Math, Writing, Reading, Spanish, Social Studies
Schedule: 7/15-7/18, 9am-2pm
Cost: $395/student
Highway to High School (Grades 7-8): We have found that there is often a need for junior high students to receive preparation for their transition into high school. This camp will provide a way to increase your child’s confidence and readiness for the fall semester, whether they are rising 8th grade or rising 9th grade. We offer an environment conducive to reassuring students of what they already know as well as introducing them to newer concepts in a fun, no- pressure setting.
Subjects covered: Writing, Pre-Algebra/Algebra, Spanish, Art, History, English
Schedule: 7/22-7/26, 9am-2pm
Cost: $395/student
College Here We Come (ACT/SAT Preparation, Grades 9-12): There is no better time than now to start prepping for the ACT and college applications. Whether your student still has a few years of high school left or they are entering their senior year, we can help make sure they are very well equipped for what lies ahead. The focus of this camp will be test preparation with opportunity for college counseling as well.
Subjects covered: Test-taking skills/time-management skills, ACT/SAT Content, College Readiness
Schedule: 7/8-7/12, 11am-1:30pm
Cost: $495/student
